How do i get my microphone headset to go through my speakers?

i have a microphone headset that plugs into my computer. I wnat the sound that goes into the microphone tocome out the speakers hooked up to my computer. how do i do that? is there a downloadable program?

1. with every microphone and head set there should be a disk that you used to install it with the disk there sould be a program to change that if there isnt then ignore my answer
2. click on speaker icon next to the clock (right bottom) or goto: control panel -> sound-> select the playback speaker, adjust the main volume and wave volume and select Microphone (do a check mark). you will see play options depending on your sound card hardware, such as: option for: Line in, Mic, Aux In SPDIF, Wav etc. by default, Mic is not selected (to prevent audio feedback).
