USB Stereo Headset

Can anyone confirm that the Gigaware Wrap around the ear USB wired stereo headset is compatible with the ps3?

I just bought it and I hope that it works. please don't give me websites that show product detail, i need it confirmed by satisfied consumers. thanks biased answers aren't necessary, I have my reasons to to get an xbox, as i don't play often, i watch movies mostly
