- Some USB devices require to be pluged while you are installing the driver (for example an All-In-One HP printer) when it's plugged nothing happens .. but when you install its driver .. during the installation it asks you to plug your device in order to finish the installation process successfully .. so if you have a CD that came with the headset .. try installing the software for it first. Second, Make sure that the USB device itself is malfunction free and ready to be used .. if not .. get it back to where you baught it from. third, Make sure that your USB ports on the back of your computer case are connective and working properly -- this can be done by testing the port with devices that you know they are okay and working properly (like a USB keyboard or whatsoever) if it functioned okay .. then your ports are okay .. Fourth, Go to your device manager and check for the proper driver for the USB controllers .. maybe that's the problem .. if that's it .. refer to your main board manual to install the controller's driver from the CD that came with your mainboard. Not to mention that you should make sure that your audio card has it's driver installed and the sound is coming out of the computer
- Change the output from control panel Start - control panel - sounds and audio devices - audio - sound playback - change your present output to the USB headphone, Will work for sure. Best of luck
