USB Stereo Headset

I can't get my USB headset with microphone to work with my pc, Help?

I bought a Altec Lansing AHS433 usb Stereo Headset with Mic. I plugged the usb in my usb port. The red light blinks and I only have sound. My microphone will not work! Under volume I don't see the microphone volume listed. It's titled c-media usb headphone set Can anybody help me get my microphone to work?

1. did you have a driver for it ?
2. i guess u need driver if not then install ur audio driver if not try to plug it and go to accesories - entertaiment (im not sure i have italian windows)- register sounds scream a bit and see if it works make sure u plug it in the red hole if nothing works then go change it its broken
3. take it to a test in the sound recorder application adjusting the volume of your system to different levels and see how it works and when it works
