Can you charge an xbox 360 wireless headset on your computer rather than your xbox console?

There is a USB cord attached to the charger and I was just curious if you could charge it on the computer rather than having to do it with your console on while your playing.

1. Yes, you can use your PC's USB to charge your 360 controller. That's what I do when I need to charge multiple controllers, and don't feel like using the 360 as a charger. As delicate as the 360 is, just about anything could bring on the ring of death.
