Is there anyway to make my mic on my headset for my computer not cut in and out?
This is probably not able to be solved, and will just be something I have to deal with, but I currently have an internet provider that comes in through a satellite dish, and I've been using a headset and mic with my computer for gaming, but I cut in and out really bad when people hear me, I was just wondering if there was any way to fix this, or change this so that I was clear.

- Satellite connections are tricky, cuz they rely on a direct transmission signal from ur dish to the satellite, which of course can be interrupted by weather, planes, space debris, or even birds, lol. however, if this problem is relatively new, as in this wasn't ALWAYS the case while using satellite, you may be focusing on the wrong problem. headset mics often times get shorts in the cords, due to the abuse we give them, i know, cuz I've went through about 4 headsets in the past 2 years. Anyway, try wearing ur headset, and talking with a buddy who can give u instant feedback about ur static, and while doing so, run ur fingers along the length of the cord, slowly, to discover where the short/break is. If it's in a reasonably easy to manage place, bend it to whatever position it works good in, the tightly tape it so it stays in that position. This will work, as a short term solution, if it is indeed your mic.
