USB Stereo Headset

Can anyone suggest the best computer headset to buy a gamer?

I need to buy a new headset for the computer. Have a big World of Warcraft player so it has to be a very good quality headset with a microphone. Preferably the kind that keeps me from hearing what's going on in the game while he's playing. Any suggestions?
