Cannot Record Audio with USB Headset? Unlike before, I use the ESS Maestro thing, with the Blue,Green and Red Port. I use Wavepad and Audacity for recording audios and voice. Microphone plays back my voice? I just broke my logitech headset and I ran out and bought a Gigaware wrap-around USB stereo headset. For some reason when I talk, regardless if I am recording or anything it plays back MY voice over the headset speakers. I'm not sure why, but it only does it on my XP computer not my Vista one. Why? Why are ALL my microphones so quiet? On two different computers I've used three different stereo headsets. USB headsets work great but I can't use "What U Hear" with them. One laptop has built in Realtek sound, the other has a SoundBlaster Xtremegamer X-Fi. When the mic is plugged in (to the mic jack, not line in), it is NEVER loud enough. On a scale from -72 to 0, the loudest it ever gets is -24. I want to use this mic to DJ while music is playing via iTunes, but you can never hear my voice, even when I yell LOUD. On either computer with any of the three computers! I have adjusted the recording volume to max in every possible place, including the Creative tools, the system itself, etc. I put the boom right in front of my mouth and yell, and it barely registers. Do stereo microphones have some sort of hard limit I'm missing?

I have a PC Headset Can I Make It Compatable With My PS3? I just bought Bad Company 2 for my PC and a Logitch headset also for my PC. I returned Bad Comapny because my video card didnt supoprt the game. I kept the headset in hope that I could make it work with my PS3 which I now have Bad Company 2 for. The headset I bought was really nice and I would like to use it for my PS# rather then my BlueTooth I'm currently using. My sound only comes out one earphone? Whenever I move the headset around, by tilting it forward and such, it comes out both ears, but in regular position, with the bar on top of my head, it only comes out the right earphone. I'm in need of help. Why does my speaker doesn't work? My speaker model is Edifier. Its output is USB cable. It can be use until recently I bought a new stereo headset with microphone using USB output too. I can use both until my computer cannot detect any speaker. When I see through the Sounds and Audio Devices settings, it says no audio device. It shows Modem #0 line playback as my default speaker and microphone output. But when I open windows media player to play some song, I can hear it through my Edifier speaker. When I play movies in youtube, I can't hear any sound. There's no speaker icon on my taskbar. Please tell me what's wrong with my computer.

My new headset problem...? I bout a new cheapo office one headset cos my microsoft one stopped working. With my old one you plugged it in and my computer automatically detected it. Thie one has no driver or instructions and when i plug it in nothing pops up saying 'installing new hardware' or whatever. My old one was a USB but this one is stereo jack plugs. I need help with my headset.? Hello. I recently bought a turtle beach x11 headset. but when i started to play my game, i noticed that the headset completely stopped working. Replacing Home Stereo? I've needed to replace my stereo speakers for awhile, but haven't because I'm afraid that I'll end up with something of poor quality (or pay too much). The system I have currently is an 11 years old 50 disc changer with 5.1 surround sound, great woofers, dying front speakers, and is obviously outdated. Now systems have bluetooth, cd, dvd, and everything else. Surround sound and good quality are most important to me, but where do I start in my search? I would like something with stereo bluetooth as I already have a headset, but I don't want to sacrifice quality for a USB port and other bells and whistles. I know that at least Samsung makes one stereo system which is compatible with bluetooth version 1.2 stereo headphones (for wireless audio). I'm not sure how common it is though.

It has not got bluetooth built in so I bought a BT adapter in order to connect it to my BT headset to use it with Skype. I think the problem might be with the BT adaptor, because AFAIK it has to have some kind of profile in order to communicate with the headset. Is there a way or program to stream audio from a mic port on my PC to my bluetooth headset connected to my PC? Does anybody know of a program that is already made, some method built into windows that I'm unaware of, or possibly even some VB code that would allow me to stream audio from the front MIC port on my PC to the BlueTooth Dongle that is plugged into the USB port on the front of my computer so I can stream that same audio to a BlueTooth headset? To describe the situation: I am running everything through a video switch. The audio is going out into a jack converter that converts it to a standard stereo jack at which point the male end plugs into my PC's mic input. I am then able to stream that audio to my headphone output jack, but I can't stream it to my BlueTooth headset. Does anybody know of a way I can accomplish this goal? Note: The only program I have found so far has nearly a 2-3 second lag between the MIC Input and Headset Output. This simply will not suffice. I need one that has NO (or non-noticeable) lag. Thanks! Do you think I can get $325 for a sort of broken AT&T 8525 phone? So I bought an AT&T 8525 off of eBay a couple months ago, and of course, I'm having a problem with the screen just turning white every so often, and getting stuck there. Everything else works fine. This is a great phone, and it lists brand new for $600. I've heard the white screen issue is an easy fix, for someone who has the tools to open the phone up and fix it. Do you think it's reasonable to ask $325 on craigslist or eBay for it (if I include all the original packaging, CD, stereo headset, 1GB micro card, a nice case worth $25, USB cable, and a screen protector)? It's also unlocked (I use it with t-mobile). Any thoughts? I agree now that it probably won't sell for that much... But keep in mind that you're ".99" phone with contract is WITH a contract. I've sold phones before for their list price because a lot of people want the phone and don't want to enter into a contract. (Think about how much money you'd pay with that contract). The audio system on my computer refuses to work. Can anyone help? Recently a trojan came and wiped both of my hard drives. This includes all system files, user data, drivers and the like, and right now the only way I can listen to sound is through my USB headset. It appears that the problem is that the computer isn't recognising my stereo (A logitech 2.1 something or rather). I plug it into the green slot at the back and nothing happens. If I try to play a song, WMP gives the following message: "Windows media player cannot play the file because there is a problem with your sound device. There might not be a sound device installed on your computer, it might be in use with another program, or it might not be functioning properly." I currently run 32 bit XP. Any ideas?

How do I get sound to record on Fraps? Alright, so I'm a 15 year old nerdy teenager that wants to record some videos of me playing games for later use (who knows, I just know it's fun to do!) Anyways, I've never let it bother me, but a recent event requires me to be able to record sound. Now I love Fraps, it gets good quality and a good frame rate, but I CANNOT figure out how to record sound. I've gone over a few forums, and I've seen a lot of things that could have been my problem. But alas none of them fixed it. I do not use a USB mic/headset. I have "record sound" checked. I have it set to "detect best sound input. Apparently I also need to have the "Sound Input" box under the "Movies" tab set to "What U Hear", "Record Master" or "Stereo Mixer". I have no idea how to do this, and that's about the only thing that I could even think would be my problem. It doesn't let me click the box or anything, and I'm guessing I have to fiddle with some audio options on my computer. I am afraid to do this, however, as I am not very adept in that area of my computer. I usually leave my drivers alone, as my Uncle sets it up to where everything is USUALLY perfect. If anyone can help me out, that'd be great!

How do you connect headphones to a Krzr? I bought a K1m a few months ago and would like to use the mp3 player in my car. When I had a regular mp3 player, I had a transmitter thing that I plugged into it, and plugged that into my car, and the music came out of the car radio. I want to do the same with this. I bought a mini usb to 2.5 adapter but that didn't work. I think it was designed only for headsets that are used when you are talking on the phone. I think I need something you would use to connect a regular set of headphones, and not the headset. I have had a little trouble finding this on ebay, and hate to take a chance on getting the wrong thing. The closest thing I found on ebay is this : Mini USB to 3.5mm Stereo Audio Adapter for Motorola, item number 260242837946. Would this work? I NEED HELP! computer speaker problem...? I have a set of Realtek RC97 computer stereo speakers and recently i plugged in a USB headset just to fool around with the voice and then like i have done many times be4 taken the USB headset out and usually the audio goes right back to my speakers. And it did this time to...partially...well you know when you click on a link the little sound comes out of the speakers like a little "click" and when there's an error there's a little "bong" well there's sounds like that but there's no audio wen i try to play things like videos from youtube......I've already checked the control panel and all the other volumes NOTHING IS MUTED OR TURNED OFF and these speakers are also selected to play the sound in the control panel so i have no idea wats going on plz help me..
